Job summary

Carecor Health Services Ltd. is seeking a Personal Support Worker to join our Toronto area team on a casual basis with flexible shifts. You will provide floor and observational care under nursing staff supervision, enhancing patients’ physical, social, and emotional well‑being.

Each assignment lasts 8–12 hours at a single facility, with competitive hourly pay ranging from $22.00 to $26.00. Eligible candidates must hold a PSW certificate or be enrolled in a Nursing pathway and meet safety and

• PSW/Bachelor-trained pathway is required or in progress.
• CPI certification preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• Immunizations up to date per policy.
• TB or chest x-ray documentation current.
• Vulnerable Sector Check required before hire.
• COVID-19 vaccination proof required prior to start.

Responsibilities

• Perform floor and observational care duties to promote physical, social, and emotional well-being.
• Work in one facility per assignment for a full 8–12 hour shift.
• Support nursing staff under supervision and follow facility protocols.

Carecor is looking for dedicated and compassionate Personal Support Workers to join our amazing team working in the Toronto and surrounding areas supporting Transitional Care Units. We are ready when you are!

Under the direction of facility nursing staff, you will perform floor and observational care duties - helping to create an environment that promotes optimal physical, social, and emotional well-being for patients. For each assignment, you will be in one facility for a full 8 - 12hour shift. This is a Casual position with flexible shifts.

Qualifications

• Personal Support Worker (PSW) certificate or enrolled in a Nursing pathway program or a Nursing student
• CPI Certification required (Crisis Prevention & Intervention Training Certificate) - preferred
• Clinical experience as a PSW within the past 2 years
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certificationand N95 Mast Fit Test Certificate
• Proof of current immunization for measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella (MMRV), Hepatitis B, and Tdap/Td
• Proof of negative TB skin test within the past(1)yearor negative chest x-ray within the past 5 years
• Willing to undergo Vulnerable Sector Police Check as a condition ofhire
