Carecor Health Services Ltd. is seeking dedicated Personal Support Workers to support clients across the Greater Toronto Area.

This casual position offers flexible scheduling based on operational needs and opportunities to work in a variety of care settings to promote independence, dignity, safety and well-being. You will provide person-centered care, assist with daily living activities, mobility, nutrition and social engagement, under nursing guidance, across multiple settings as opportunities

Qualifications

• PSW certificate from a recognized institution.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification.
• Experience with complex medical needs or technology-dependent care is an asset.
• Experience providing personal care, mobility assistance, nutrition support, and daily living activities.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and in an interdisciplinary team.
• Vulnerable Sector Check (or ability to obtain one).
• Commitment to person-centered care, professionalism and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centered care and support with activities of daily living.
• Assist technology-dependent clients with daily routines and personal care.
• Support clients with tracheostomies and ventilators under nursing direction.
• Monitor and report changes in client condition to nursing team.
• Maintain accurate documentation and support care plan implementation.

• Provide person-centered care and support with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, dressing, mobility, and nutrition.
• Assist technology-dependent clients with daily routines and personal care needs.
• Support clients with tracheostomies and ventilators under the direction of the nursing team.
• Monitor and report changes in client condition to the nursing team.
• Maintain accurate documentation and support care plan implementation.
• Promote the health, safety, dignity, and well-being of clients.
• Collaborate with families, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to provide quality care.
