Job summary

Extendicare is seeking a Part-time PSW/HCA/CCA to provide direct personal support and care for residents in long-term care settings across Canada. The role includes ambulation, feeding, bathing, grooming, and support in areas of physical, emotional, and social well-being, aligned with care plans and policies.

Candidates should have a PSW program or HCA/CCA certification, experience in dementia and pallia tive care preferred, and the ability to work independently in community home care.

Qualifications

• Completed a PSW Program or HCA/CCA certification that meets standards.
• Experience in Long Term Care or community home care setting preferred.
• Knowledge of care planning systems and documentation.
• Ability to communicate positively with staff, residents/patients and families.
