Job summary
Qualicare Durham is seeking compassionate Personal Support Workers (PSWs)/Caregivers to join our home care team. You will provide personal care, meal prep, light housekeeping, and companionship to clients in their homes across the Durham Region.
This role emphasizes safety, dignity, and building strong relationships with clients and families. Training, flexible scheduling, and ongoing education opportunities are available to support your development and community impact.
Qualifications
- PSW certificate or equivalent required.
- Current CPR/First Aid training or willingness to obtain.
- Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray.
- Ability to travel around location territory.
- Access to Internet/mobile phone.
- Valid Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle.

The Personal Support Worker is a member of the home care team who works under the supervision of the Care Coordinator and performs various personal care services as necessary to meet the client’s needs.
- Assistance with personal care and hygiene
