Personal Support Worker (LTC) - 1 position

Location: Mount Hope - St. Mary's 4th Floor
Mount Hope Centre for Long Term Care - London, ON
Employment Type: Part Time
Salary Range: $30.61 - $30.93 /hour

Hours are based on current scheduling and may change as determined by the Employer.

Essential Qualifications

• Graduate of a Personal Support Worker Certificate Program from an accredited institution
• Proof of registration with the Health and Supportive Care Providers Oversight Authority (HSCPOA) (External Applicants Only)
• Knowledge of a Safety Culture in a Healthcare Setting in compliance with OHSA
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as heavy lifting, bending, standing, walking, pushing, and pulling
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Successful candidates must provide a police record check completed within the last six months, including vulnerable sector screening, from a Canadian Police Information Centre (CPIC)

Preferred Qualifications

• Secondary (High) School Diploma
• Proficiency in French is an asset
• Interest in working with the elderly population
