Job Title: Personal Support Worker (LTC), Mount Hope - St. Mary's

Location: Mount Hope Centre for Long Term Care - London, ON, 3rd Floor

Position: Full Time, Day Shift

Salary Range: $30.61 - $30.93 /hour

Note: Please enter or validate your "Education Experience" in your profile. Effective March 1, 2025, all external PSW (Personal Support Worker) hires will be required to be registered with HSCPOA.

Responsibilities

Care for residents by supporting their body, mind, and spirit, adhering to safety and health standards.

Essential Qualifications
  • Graduate of a Personal Support Worker Certificate Program from an accredited institution.
  • Proof of registration with the Health and Supportive Care Providers Oversight Authority (HSCPOA) (for external applicants).
  • Knowledge of safety culture in healthcare, compliant with OHSA.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as heavy lifting, bending, standing, walking, pushing, and pulling.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Police record check within the last six months, including vulnerable sector screening.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Secondary (High) School Diploma.
  • Proficiency in French is an asset.
  • Interest in working with the elderly population.
