Job summary

AgeCare in Canada is hiring a Personal Support Worker (PSW) responsible for resident care per care plans and helping identify resident needs. The PSW helps maintain a safe and respectful environment for residents, families and staff.

Key duties include monitoring care to ensure alignment with the plans, documenting information, attending in-service sessions, onboarding new staff, and following IPAC policies.

Qualifications

• PSW certificate/diploma required.
• Meets Ontario vocational standards.
• Meets NACCC standards for PSWs.
• Knowledge of basic bedside care and sanitation.

Responsibilities

• Monitor care to ensure alignment with the established plan.
• Document information regarding residents’ care as directed.
• Attend in-service education, staff meetings, and workshops.
• Assist in onboarding of new staff as directed.
• Follow IPAC policies and procedures.
