Job summary

Carecor Health Services Ltd. is seeking dedicated Care Team Assistants to join our team serving Halifax Regional Municipality and surrounding area hospitals. You will perform floor and observational care duties under nursing staff, staying at one facility for an 8-12 hour shift per assignment.

Qualifications

• CTA/CCA certificate or IEN bridging program in progress and RN/LPN licensure in NS.
• Immunizations including MMRV, tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis, hepatitis B and Covid-19.
• TB test within 1 year or chest x-ray within 5 years.
• Current BCLS-HCP (HealthCare Provider).
• Current N95 Mask Fit Test Certificate.
• Willing to undergo Vulnerable Sector Police Check as a condition of hire.

• Continuing Care Assistant (CTA), Care Team Assistant (CCA) certificate OR Internationally Educated Nurse (IEN) currently enrolled in a bridging program and is in the process of attaining RN licensure or LPN licensure with the Nova Scotia College of Nursing
• Proof of current immunization for measles, mumps, rubella and varicella (MMRV), tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis, hepatitis B and Covid-19
• Proof of negative TB skin test within the past one (1) year or negative chest x-ray within the past five (5) years
• Current BCLS-HCP (HealthCare Provider)
• Current N95 Mask Fit Test Certificate
• Willing to undergo Vulnerable Sector Police Check as a condition of hire
