Job summary

Carecor Health Services Ltd., a Bayshore HealthCare subsidiary, seeks Registered Nurses to travel to Halifax area hospitals for 8–12 hour shifts. You will work under the direction of the facility RN and contribute to patient care across medical/surgical units.

Requirements include an active RN license, 2 years in acute care, current immunizations, BCLS-HCP, N95 fit, and ability to pass a Vulnerable Sector check. Flexibility for last-minute shifts is essential.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license current and in good standing.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in acute care, medicine or surgical floors.
• Proof of immunizations: measles, mumps, rubella and varicella (MMRV), tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis, hepatitis B.
• Proof of negative TB skin test within past year or negative chest x‑ray in past five years.
• Current BCLS-HCP certification and N95 mask fit test.
• Will undergo Vulnerable Sector Police Check as a condition of hire.
• Flexible to work occasional urgent/last-minute/early morning shifts.

Responsibilities

• Travel to Halifax Regional Municipality and surrounding area hospitals for assignments.
• Provide care under the direction of the facility charge nurse or RN.
• Help foster optimal physical, social, and emotional well-being for patients.
• Each assignment involves a full 8–12 hour shift.

Carecor is looking for dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurses (medical/surgical) nurses who are willing to travel to Halifax Regional Municipality and surrounding area hospitals to join our amazing team. We’re ready when you are! Under the direction of the facility charge nurse or registered nurse, you will provide care according to Nova Scotia College of Nursing, the Standards of Practice of Carecor, and the healthcare facility where assigned - helping foster an environment of optimal physical, social, and emotional well-being for patients. For each assignment, you will be in one facility for a full 8-12 hour shift. This is a casual to a full-time position with flexible shifts.

Qualifications

• Applicants require a Registered Nurse (RN) practicing license that is current, active, and in good standing with your respective provincial College.
• Transfer of active practicing license will be required with the Nova Scotia College of Nursing
• Required: Minimum of 2 years of experience working in acute care environments, preferably on medicine/surgical floors.
• Proof of current immunization for measles, mumps, rubella and varicella (MMRV), tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis, and hepatitis B
• Proof of negative TB skin test within the past one (1) year or negative chest x-ray within the past five (5) years
• Current BCLS-HCP (HealthCare Provider) and Current N95 Mask Fit Test Certificate
• Willing to undergo Vulnerable Sector Police Check as a condition of hire
• Flexible to work occasional shifts that are considered urgent/last minute/early morning
