Carecor Health Services Ltd. (Carecor), a Bayshore HealthCare company, is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses to join our team in Halifax Regional Municipality and surrounding area hospitals.

Under the direction of the facility charge nurse or RN, you will provide care on medical/surgical units, with 8-12 hour shifts, promoting patients' physical, social, and emotional well‑being.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse with current NS licensure.
• 2 years' recent acute/long-term care experience.
• Competency in medical/surgical nursing.
• Up-to-date immunizations (MMRV, tetanus, DPT, HepB).
• Recent TB test or chest X-ray as required.
• BCLS-HCP certification.
• N95 mask fit certificate.
• Willing to obtain Vulnerable Sector Check.
• Vaccination proof for COVID-19 is required per government mandates.

Carecor is looking for dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses to join our amazing team working in medical/surgical units in Halifax Regional Municipality and surrounding area hospitals. We’re ready when you are!

Under the direction of the facility charge nurse or registered nurse, you will provide care according to Nova Scotia College of Nursing, the Standards of Practice of Carecor and the healthcare facility where assigned - helping foster an environment of optimal physical, social, and emotional well‑being for patients. For each assignment, you will be in one facility for a full 8-12 hour shift.

Job Qualification

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Diploma
• Current LPN licensure in good standing with the Nova Scotia College of Nursing
• 2 years of recent nursing experience in the acute care/long‑term facility
• Proof of competency with medical/surgical skills
• Proof of current immunization for measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella (MMRV), tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis, and hepatitis B
• Proof of negative TB skin test within the past one (1) year or negative chest x‑ray within the past five (5) years
• Current BCLS-HCP (HealthCare Provider)
• Current N95 Mask Fit Test Certificate
• Willing to undergo Vulnerable Sector Police Check as a condition of hire
