Job summary

Qualicare Durham is seeking compassionate Personal Support Workers (PSWs) to join our in-home care team. You will perform essential personal care tasks, assist with meals, mobility, and daily activities, while supporting clients and families in their homes.

Qualified candidates have a PSW certificate, CPR/First Aid, a valid driver’s license, and access to transportation. The role offers flexible hours and opportunities for continuing education and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Personal Support Worker Certificate or equivalent
• Current CPR/First Aid training or willingness to obtain
• Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
• Ability to travel around location territory
• Access to Internet/mobile phone
• Valid Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle

• Meal Preparation
• Light Housekeeping
• Accompany clients on outingsShopping and errands
• Medication Assist/ Reminders
• Ambulation and transporting of clients
