Job summary

Qualicare Whitby is seeking compassionate Personal Support Workers/Caregivers to join our home care team in the Durham region. You will provide personal care, meal prep and companionship to help clients stay comfortable at home.

Responsibilities include hygiene assistance, light housekeeping, transportation, and medication reminders while following care plans. A PSW certificate and a valid driver's license are required, with ongoing training and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• PSW certificate or equivalent required.
• CPR/First Aid training required or willingness to obtain.
• Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray.
• Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
• Access to Internet/mobile phone.
• Ability to travel around location territory.
