Qualicare Homecare is seeking compassionate Personal Support Workers to join our caring team in the Durham region. As a PSW, you will work under supervision to deliver essential personal care services, improve quality of life for clients, and support families with in-home care plans.

Location is Durham area with flexible shifts and responsive teamwork. We value reliability, empathy, and the ability to travel across the territory.

Qualifications

• PSW certificate or equivalent required.
• CPR/First Aid training current or willing to obtain.
• Negative TB test or chest x-ray as per policy.

Responsibilities

• Assistance with personal care and hygiene.
• Meal preparation and light housekeeping.
• Provide companionship and client support.
• Assist with medication reminders and documentation.
• Transport clients and accompany on outings.

• Documentation/Charting

Qualifications

• Personal Support Worker Certificate or equivalent (foreign-trained nurse, nursing student).
• Current CPR/First Aid training or willingness to obtain
• Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
• Ability to travel around location territory
• Access to Internet/mobile phone
• Valid Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle
