Job summary

Community Home Assistance To Seniors CHATS in Richmond Hill is seeking a compassionate Personal Support Worker (PSW) to join our Assisted Living team. You will support older adults to maintain independence, dignity, and quality of life while living safely in the community.

You will provide personal care, observe changes in wellbeing, document communications with the care team, and travel within the community to deliver care and support services. English fluency is required; French is a plus.

Qualifications

• PSW Certificate is required.
• First Aid and CPR certification is required.
• Valid Ontario Driver's Licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
• Experience in a community or healthcare setting preferred.
• English communication skills required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional language(s) are considered an asset
• Fluency in English and French is considered an asset
• Experience working in Assisted Living or community-based care
