AgeCare Ltd. is hiring a Personal Support Worker (PSW) to provide resident care per care plans and support a safe, respectful environment. The role involves monitoring and reporting on care outcomes and assisting with documentation and onboarding of new staff.

Ideal candidates have a PSW certificate, meet provincial and national standards, and understand sanitization and geriatric needs to ensure high-quality care for residents.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Personal Support Worker Certificate/Diploma Program.
• Meet the vocational standards established by the Ministry of Training, Colleges, and Universities.
• Meet the standards established by the National Association of Career Colleges.
• Meet the standards established by the Ontario Community Support Association.
• Knowledge of procedures and techniques involved in administering simple treatments and related bedside care to residents.
• Must understand the basics of good sanitation and cleaning techniques and be knowledgeable with respect to the needs of geriatric residents.

Responsibilities
