Job summary

SE Health is hiring Personal Support Workers (PSWs) for community care shifts in Port Perry and the Uxbridge area. This is a full/part-time position offering mileage and travel time coverage, with competitive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Requirements include a valid PSW certificate, driver’s license with access to a vehicle, immunizations, current CPR & First Aid, and availability for days or evenings and every other weekend.

Qualifications accepted to work as a PSW:

• Valid Certificate as a Personal Support Worker (PSW)
• RN or RPN
• Nursing student (2 clinical placements completed)
• Valid Developmental Support Worker Diploma
• Foreign trained healthcare professional - Nurse

Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license and vehicle to use for work daily is required
• Meet Immunization requirements – MMR, Varicella, TB and Tetanus
• Current vulnerable sector check (VSC)
• Current Standard CPR level C certificate and First Aid
• Availability to workdays OR evenings and every other weekend
• This is a physically demanding position and requires hand, arm and shoulder dexterity, sensory ability, lifting to a maximum of approximately fifty-five (55) pounds, walking, climbing stairs, standing, bending, reaching, and frequent movement
