Job summary

SE Health is hiring Full Time Evening Personal Support Workers (PSW) for Community Care and Respite in Goderich and surrounding areas. The hiring pay range is $21.70–$24.20 per hour, plus a $2500 sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits.

We cover mileage and travel time between clients, provide a mobile device and three uniforms, and support ongoing education and growth opportunities. Evening shifts are from 1pm to 9pm with every other weekend.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid PSW certificate or equivalent.
• Availability to work evenings and every other weekend.
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle for daily work.

Qualifications accepted to work as a PSW:

• Valid Certificate as a Personal Support Worker (PSW)
• RN or RPN
• Nursing student (2 clinical placements completed)
• Valid Developmental Support Worker Diploma
• Foreign trained healthcare professional - Nurse

Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license and vehicle to use for work daily is required
• Meet Immunization requirements – MMR, Varicella, TB, Tetanus
• Current vulnerable sector check (VSC)
• Current Standard CPR level C certificate
• Availability to work evenings1pm-9pm and every other weekend
• This is a physically demanding position and requires hand, arm and shoulder dexterity, sensory ability, lifting to a maximum of approximately fifty‑five (55) pounds, walking, climbing stairs, standing, bending, reaching, and frequent movement
