Job summary

SE Health is hiring Full-Time Personal Support Workers (PSW) for Community Care in South Windsor, Lasalle and surrounding areas. Drive Your Career Forward with Us – We'll Cover Your Mileage and Travel Time.

Qualifications

• Valid PSW certificate or equivalent.
• RN or RPN qualification considered.
• Nursing student with two clinical placements acceptable.
• Developmental Support Worker Diploma recognized.
• Foreign trained healthcare professional (Nurse) considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal support care to clients in community settings.
• Assist with daily living activities and mobility.
• Commute between clients; travel may be required within the area.

Qualifications accepted to work as a PSW:

• Valid Certificate as a Personal Support Worker (PSW)
• RN or RPN
• Nursing student (2 clinical placements completed)
• Valid Developmental Support Worker Diploma
• Foreign trained healthcare professional - Nurse

Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license and vehicle to use for work daily is required
• Meet Immunization requirements – MMR, Varicella, TB, Tetanus and Covid
• Current vulnerable sector check (VSC)
• Current Standard CPR level C certificate
• Availability to work day,eve and every other weekend
• This is a physically demanding position and requires hand, arm and shoulder dexterity, sensory ability, lifting to a maximum of approximately fifty-five (55) pounds, walking, climbing stairs, standing, bending, reaching, and frequent movement
