Job summary

SE Health is hiring Part Time/Full Time Evening Personal Support Workers for Ottawa and surrounding areas. We cover mileage and travel time, offering extensive benefits and a path for growth within a national social enterprise focused on healthy aging.

This role requires a valid PSW certificate or nursing credentials, a valid driver’s license, immunization up to date, and the ability to work days/evenings with weekend rotation. SE Health emphasizes support, mentorship, and a respectful workplace.

• RN or RPN qualification or enrollment as nursing student (2 clinical placements)
• Developmental Support Worker Diploma or foreign trained nurse credentials

• Current Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) and CPR level C + First Aid

Qualifications Accepted To Work As a PSW

• Valid Certificate as a Personal Support Worker (PSW)
• RN or RPN
• Nursing student (2 clinical placements completed)
• Valid Developmental Support Worker Diploma
• Foreign trained healthcare professional - Nurse

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license and vehicle to use for work daily is required
• Meet Immunization requirements – MMR, Varicella, TB, Tetanus
• Current vulnerable sector check (VSC)
• Current Standard CPR level C certificate and First Aid
• Availability to work days OR evenings and every other weekend
• This is a physically demanding position and requires hand, arm and shoulder dexterity, sensory ability, lifting to a maximum of approximately fifty‑five (55) pounds, walking, climbing stairs, standing, bending, reaching, and frequent movement
