Job summary

Garden River First Nation is seeking a Personal Support Worker to provide in-home support for seniors and clients in need, ensuring safe and healthy living according to care plans. The role is based at 7 Shinkgwauk Street, Garden River First Nation, ON, with a starting wage of CAD 24.40 per hour and a 35-hour workweek.

Preference may be given to GRFN registered members. Applicants must have a PSW certificate, CPR/First Aid, CPIC clearance, and a valid driver’s license.

Position: Personal Support Worker

Starting Range: Starting at $24.40 per hour (Pending Education & Experience)

Monday to Friday - 35 hours per week

Garden River First Nation, also known as Ketegaunseebee is located near Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. The community is part of the Ojibway band and is recognized for its cultural heritage. Garden River First Nation is looking for Personal Support Workers Part Time and Casual (PSW) to assist seniors, frail, disabled/or cognitively impaired clients with their physical, mental and emotional well-being when they cannot do so themselves or are requiring assistance to do so. They will provide support to clients to remain living in their home in a safe and healthy manner through adherence to Care Plan adherence

Required Skills
