Job summary

ParaMed in Ontario seeks a part-time Personal Support Worker (PSW) to join our home and community care team serving Red Lake, Ear Falls and Balmertown.

You will assist with daily living activities, prepare meals, provide basic housekeeping and companionship, and help patients maintain independence in their homes. Valid PSW certificate required; drivers license and vehicle needed; compassionate, flexible care. AI tools may be used in recruitment processes.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid PSW certificate.
• Demonstrate compassion and care when interacting with patients.
• Reliable and flexible.
• Passionate about making a difference in the community.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle to travel to patients’ residences within the service area.

Responsibilities

• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks, including special diets, as determined by the care plan.
• Provide basic housekeeping tasks and companionship to help patients enjoy a better quality of life.

This position is located in Red Lake, Ear Falls and Balmertown, Ontario.

As a Personal Support Worker (PSW) you will be an integral part of the home and community care team. You will support, encourage and provide independence for patients in their homes and community settings by assisting with activities of daily living.
