Job Summary:

The Personal Support Worker is part of the home care team, working under the supervision of the Care Coordinator to perform various personal care services tailored to meet the client’s needs.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with personal care and hygiene
• Prepare meals
• Perform light housekeeping
• Handle shopping and errands
• Assist with medication reminders
• Support ambulation and transportation of clients
• Provide companionship
• Follow care plans accurately
• Documentation and charting

Qualifications:

• Personal Support Worker Certificate or equivalent (including foreign-trained nurses or nursing students)
• Current CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
• Negative TB skin test or chest X-ray
• Ability to travel within the assigned territory
• Access to internet and a mobile phone
