Job summary

SE Health in Prince Edward County, Ontario, is hiring Full Time days Personal Support Workers (PSW) for community care shifts. You will support clients in their homes and between visits, contributing to compassionate, high-quality care.

This role requires a PSW certificate (or RN/RPN), valid driver’s license, immunizations, and CPR level C with First Aid. Shifts include days and evenings, with every other weekend, and mileage is covered.

Qualifications accepted to work as a PSW:

• Valid Certificate as a Personal Support Worker (PSW)
• RN or RPN
• Nursing student (2 clinical placements completed)
• Valid Developmental Support Worker Diploma
• Foreign trained healthcare professional - Nurse

Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license and vehicle to use for work daily is required
• Meet Immunization requirements – MMR, Varicella, TB and Tetanus
• Current vulnerable sector check (VSC)
• Current Standard CPR level C certificate and First Aid
• Availability to workdays OR eveningsand every other weekend
• This is a physically demanding position and requires hand, arm and shoulder dexterity, sensory ability, lifting to a maximum of approximately fifty-five (55) pounds, walking, climbing stairs, standing, bending, reaching, and frequent movement
