Job summary

SE Health is hiring Personal Support Workers to support clients in Arnprior and surrounding areas. This part-time or full-time role offers day or evening shifts and travel between visits covered by mileage reimbursement. A mobile device and uniforms are provided, with growth opportunities and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Valid PSW certificate or equivalent.
• RN/RPN considered with relevant experience.
• Nursing student with clinical placements welcomed.
• Willingness to provide care in Arnprior and surroundings.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.

Qualifications accepted to work as a PSW

• Valid Certificate as a Personal Support Worker (PSW)


• RN or RPN


• Nursing student (2 clinical placements completed)


• Valid Developmental Support Worker Diploma


• Foreign trained healthcare professional - Nurse

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license and vehicle to use for work daily is required


• Meet Immunization requirements – MMR, Varicella, TB, Tetanus


• Current vulnerable sector check (VSC)


• Current Standard CPR level C certificate and First Aid


• Availability to workdays OR eveningsand every other weekend


• This is a physically demanding position and requires hand, arm and shoulder dexterity, sensory ability, lifting to a maximum of approximately fifty-five (55) pounds, walking, climbing stairs, standing, bending, reaching, and frequent movement
