Job summary

Whitley Newman Insurance & Financial Services is seeking an Account Manager, Personal Lines to maintain a book of business and assist the producer on new business activities.

You’ll respond to inquiries, review renewals, quote options, and document client conversations in EPIC. The role requires a minimum of 3 years in insurance, with a RI BO license and CIP/CAIB preferred, plus strong communication and organizational skills.

• Minimum 3 years insurance experience.
• R.I.B.O. license required; CIP/CAIB preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational strengths.

Responsibilities

Whitley Newman Insurance & Financial Services is hiring for an Account Manager, Personal Lines. The successful incumbent will be responsible for maintaining a book of business, generating new business, servicing client needs, and assisting the producer on new business activities.

What you’ll be responsible for:

• Be a trusted advisor. Inform and educate clients of their insurance options.
• Respond promptly to telephone, email, walk-in, and fax enquiries ensuring a high level of service is maintained.
• Review renewals and provide recommendations, coverage details and options, and comparison quotes for remarket when needed.
• Total account sales awareness, cross sell and up sell as much as possible.
• Action policy change requests, claims, notices, and cancellation requests.
• Process change requests on company portals when needed.
• Document EPIC with all client related conversations and attachments.
• Order reports to follow up on.
• Complete miscellaneous duties as assigned.
• Support other members of the team and act as a personal insurance resource when possible.

What you bring to the role:

• Minimum 3 years insurance experience
• R.I.B.O. is required and preferably working towards C.I.P. or C.A.I.B. designation
• Superb interpersonal and presentation skills and attention to detail
• Ability to be a self starter with strong written and oral communication skills in addition to strong organizational skills
• Proficiency in Outlook, Word and EPIC
