Job summary

TD Canada Trust is seeking a Personal Banking Associate for our Edmonton branch to guide customers to the right staff for banking needs, including new accounts and investments. You will help customers with everyday transactions and provide service that supports a positive banking experience.

The role emphasizes relationship building, product knowledge, and accurate documentation while complying with TD's conduct standards.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma and/or 1+ years of relevant experience.
  • IFC or equivalent required within 90 days of start date.
  • Post-Secondary or Undergraduate degree preferred.
  • Proficiency in using MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) and branch software.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Engage customers in day-to-day advice needs, service transactions, digital education, and problem resolution related to banking solutions.
  • Understand customer needs and guide to the right contact person for appropriate solutions while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Educate customers on mobile, ATM, and online banking to build confidence in digital banking trends.
  • Support frontline staff with cash and non-cash transactions and report non-standard matters to management.
  • Suggest improvements to branch operations and processes to enhance customer experience and drive operational excellence.
