Job summary

Scarborough Health Network is seeking a Registered Practical Nurse for the Surgical Suites. The role requires current Ontario RN registration, BCLS, and perioperative nursing credentials or equivalent experience.

You will care for a diverse patient population across day and night shifts, within a fast-paced multidisciplinary team. You will contribute to patient teaching, safety, and coordinated care in SHN's standards and policies.

Qualifications

• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
• Current BCLS certification.
• Perioperative Nursing Certificate or commensurate experience.
• Ability to work independently in a busy workload.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team.
• Strong patient teaching and assessment skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to a diverse patient population in the Surgical Suites.
• Practice according to College of Nurses of Ontario standards and SHN policies.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to plan and implement patient care.
