Job summary

Scarborough Health Network is seeking a Registered Practical Nurse for the General Site paediatrics program. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in a multidisciplinary family-centred setting, supporting patients and families across shifts.

The role requires current RPN registration with Ontario College of Nurses, BCLS and PALS certification, paediatric experience, and strong communication with teams and families.

Qualifications

• Current registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario as a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN).
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification compliant with standards.
• Minimum of two years paediatric related experience.
• Current PALS certificate.
• Breastfeeding Certificate or commitment to complete within 3 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care in a family-centred paediatric setting.
• Provide patient support within a multidisciplinary team and family-centred environment.
• Work across independent and team-based care models and cover all shifts.
