Job summary

Cambridge Memorial Hospital (CMH) in Cambridge seeks a nursing professional to support Surgical Day Care and Pre-Anesthesia Clinic. Requires RPN diploma or equivalent, nursing degree, current BCLS, IV certification, and perioperative experience. A strong medical/surgical background and familiarity with Meditech/PICIS are beneficial.

Employment is part time with days and evenings, 8-hour shifts. CMH supports equity, inclusion, and a safe, attendance-driven work environment, including vaccination

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of a recognized School of Nursing.
• RPN Diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of a Perioperative Nursing Certification Program preferred.
• Current BCLS certification required.
• IV certification required.
• Excellent assessment skills required.
• Perioperative Nursing Certificate would be an asset.
• Current experience in Surgical Day Care required.
• Strong medical/surgical background required.
• Knowledge of keyboarding and Meditech and PICIS system modules an asset.
• Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular basis is required.
