Job summary

Covenant Health invites applications for an OR nurse position at Banff Mineral Springs Hospital in the Canadian Rockies. The RN will participate in assessments, planning, treatments, medication administration, and discharge planning, aligned with Covenant Health policies and the UNA Collective Agreement.

Ideal candidates have ARNA CRNA registration, active CRNA, perioperative credentials, and the ability to wear lead and stand scrubbed for long periods.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Registered Nurse program or recognized equivalent required.
• Active registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA) required.
• Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (Level C) required.
• If you have not practiced as a Registered Nurse within the last five (5) years, completion of the following free courses are also required: 1) CRNA Medication Administration Certificate; 2) NextGenU Health Assessment Resources Certification

Responsibilities

• Participates in nursing assessments and interventions.
• Care planning and implementing prescribed treatments.
• Administering medications and monitoring patient response.
• Evaluate treatments and document progress; discharge planning when appropriate.
