Alberta Health Services in Grande Prairie is seeking a Manager, Operating Room & Surgical Booking Services. You will lead OR operations, surgical scheduling, staffing, budgeting, and continuous improvement to ensure safe, efficient patient-centered care.

Reporting to Surgical Services leadership, you will collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nursing and allied teams to optimize surgical access, patient flow, and performance against provincial targets, while fostering a culture of safety

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree and active registration in a relevant field.
• Minimum of five years of progressive healthcare leadership in perioperative/acute care.
• Experience in scheduling, budgeting, quality improvement and performance management.
• Ability to collaborate with physicians, nurses, and leaders across disciplines.

Responsabilidades

• Provide operational leadership for OR and Surgical Booking Services.
• Oversee scheduling, staffing, and budgeting; lead workforce planning.
• Optimize patient flow and operating room utilization; ensure safety and quality.
• Drive continuous quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
