Job summary

Scotiabank in Toronto is hiring a PeopleSoft GL Application Analyst to develop and support the General Ledger module and integrate interfaces with other PeopleSoft modules. You will collaborate with Finance to gather information, analyze needs, and translate them into actionable requirements and functional designs.

You will participate in testing, data migration reviews, and ad-hoc reporting to support business justification.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a PeopleSoft Functional or Techno-functional.
• At least 2 years of experience with PeopleSoft GL module and nVision reporting, including a role in a new implementation.
• Knowledge of PeopleSoft Asset Management, Cash Management, AR/Billing, AP, and Purchasing modules.

Responsibilities

• Understand business needs for the GL module and document requirements.
• Ensure IT solutions meet business requirements and maintain traceability.
• Collaborate with Finance to gather information using interviews and workshops.
• Analyze, document, and communicate business requirements and processes.
• Translate requirements into functional specs and assist with design and data migration reviews.
• Guide Developers and support testing, conditions, scripts, and test cases.
• Contribute to testing reviews and analyze results; provide recommendations.
• Deliver ad-hoc reporting and feasibility studies to support management decisions.
• Suggest process and system improvements to boost productivity and satisfaction.
