Job description

An innovator in technology, based in Europe, has steadily grown its North American headquarters out of Canada. They are the technology leader with about 10% of the North American market share in their industry. They have a strong commitment to their employees, a history of no layoffs, and long-term employee retention.

We are seeking someone to manage HR in Canada, the US, and Mexico(serving 87 employees total) As the sole HR practitioner, this position oversees all HR activities, including Policy development, recruitment, on-boarding, employee relations, benefits administration, payroll and more.

The right candidate can be an HR manager, business partner or generalist provided they are self sufficient. HR strategy and policy are largely locally created and under the preview of this role. The management style promotes individual initiative and collaboration, allowing people to run with ideas and projects. The right candidate will take the initiative to seek out solutions. We seek someone with a team focus and the interpersonal communication skills to build relationships internally within the Canadian Headquarter, US and Mexico sales offices.

Offered is a salary commensurate with experience, this is a manager level role with no direct reports. The company offers excellent benefits and a pension plan, and it understands the need for personal flexibility, but the role is on-site.
