Tasks

Your main tasks include, among others:

• Be responsible for People management and consultancy for Lufthansa Technik Group in Canada, including Lufthansa Technik locations in Calgary and Montreal.
• Serve as People Management’s strategic and operational business partner for Lufthansa Technik’s regional Executive Management.
• Steer and implement global and regional Lufthansa Technik People strategies related to all Lufthansa Technik locations in Canada.
• Guide, challenge and facilitate the business expansion of the Lufthansa Technik Group in the region from a People strategic perspective.
• Develop, execute and monitor quality and performance indicators (KPIs); measure services received from internal and external service providers.

Requirements

The ideal People Manager must fulfill the following requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Master’s degree desirable.
• At least 4 years of relevant professional senior People (HR) Consultancy and/or Management experience in Canada required.
• Regional experience desired.
• Strong experience in dealing with Senior Management on VP level and above required.
• Aviation / MRO Industry experience advantageous.
• Leadership skills are desirable but not required in the beginning.
• Fluency in English and French language required.
• German language desirable.
• Knowledge in HR management; Compensation & Benefits; Employee relations and recruitment required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SAP, SuccessFactors as a user.
• Willingness to travel.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Must possess permit to work in Canada.
