XTL TRANSPORT INC. is seeking an experienced AHR Manager to lead HR programs, recruitment, and career development. You will facilitate communication among staff, address workplace issues, and implement policies to improve employee relations and retention.

The role requires providing professional HR advice in line with the company ethos, and supporting management on performance and compliance matters. An exciting opportunity for an innovative HR professional in a growing company.

Qualifications

• HR experience or background in human resources.
• 1+ years of transportation experience.
• Expertise in HR policies and procedures.
• Strong knowledge of hiring processes.
• Good judgement and problem solving skills.
• Ability to mentor and supervise employees.
• Knowledge of MS Office.
• Organization and time management.
• Initiative; teamwork; Open to feedback.
• Ability to work with confidential information.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage own workload.

Responsibilities

• Manage recruitment and selection processes, including interviews and references.
• Coordinate job postings and interviews, and liaise with management.
• Ensure timely processing of applications from various channels.
• Advise management on HR needs and policy compliance.
• Oversee health and safety, HRIS usage, and payroll-adjacent tasks.
• Provide guidance on employee relations and performance issues.
• Supervise recruiter daily workflow and task delegation.
• Support managers with HR policy consistency and legal obligations.
• Prepare termination and disciplinary letters; manage leaves and absences.
• Organize orientations and training sessions for new hires.
• Audit files and organize corporate events and job fairs.
