Job summary

Norland Limited seeks a People & Culture Generalist to support employee relations, recruitment, learning & development, compliance and talent development. You will partner with leaders to enhance the employee experience and drive organizational growth.

Qualifications

• Certificate or diploma in HR management or equivalent.
• 4+ years’ experience in People & Culture.
• Knowledge and expertise in HR policies and procedures.
• Experience in a unionized and/or construction environment is an asset.
• Strong understanding of best practices, regulations and legislation.
• Ability to handle data and confidential information.
• Excellent judgement, problem solving and listening skills.
• Conflict management knowledge.
• Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal.
• Access to a reliable vehicle and valid BC driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Support employee relations, recruitment, learning & development, compliance, and talent development across the business.
• Serve as a trusted contact for HR inquiries and manage investigations with the P&C Manager.
• Lead co-op and student programs, including recruitment and onboarding.
• Coordinate internal and external training and administer tuition reimbursement.
• Maintain HR handbooks, job descriptions, records, and policy compliance.
