We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a People & Culture Business Partner with a strong Employee Relations background to join our progressive and dynamic organization and growing P&C team in Vancouver. Reporting to the Director of People and Culture Operations, responsibilities will include managing employee relations, performance management, succession planning, and policies. The key focus will be building positive relationships across the business and partnering with business leaders.

Duties and Responsibilities :

  1. Act as a strategic partner to leadership to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals.
  2. Lead and support initiatives related to culture, engagement, talent management & development, and workforce planning.
  3. Manage multiple priorities simultaneously with a results-oriented approach.
  4. Think strategically while also being hands-on.
  5. Coach and mentor organizational leaders.
  6. Stay informed about best practices, legislative changes, and industry standards.
  7. Perform other related duties as required.

Qualifications and Job Requirements :

  2. Post-secondary education in Human Resources Management or a related field preferred.
  3. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in progressive HR roles.
  4. Experience in a unionized environment is an asset.
  5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  6. Strong emotional intelligence to build trust, maintain confidentiality, and foster relationships with leaders and talent.
