Job summary

TELUS Health in Canada seeks a pension plan analyst to calculate benefits, analyze plan rules and support annual statements. You will work with a collaborative team on client mandates, data validation and process improvements in a hybrid/remote work environment.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in math/finance/actuarial science, strong analytical skills, attention to detail and fluency in French (English a plus). Proficiency in Excel and a client-focused mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Business, Finance, Actuarial Science or related field.
• Sharp analytical thinking and attention to detail.
• Dedicated team player with initiative and independence.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in French; English would be an asset.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Calculating various benefits in accordance with applicable regulations and laws.
• Analyzing and interpret pension plan rules and applicable regulations.
• Contributing to the production and verification of annual statements.
• Participating in the analysis and validation of annual and/or periodic data.
• Supporting the team in carrying out various mandates and special projects.
• Increasing our clients' satisfaction by listening to their needs and responding to their requests as well as those of the participants and trustees.
• Suggesting improvements to our various processes.
