Qualifications

• Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology.
• Current registration with the College of Audiologists and Speech Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO).
• Experience with pediatric clinical settings and complex needs (e.g., autism, brain injuries) preferred.
• Experience implementing augmentative and alternative communication systems preferred.
• Familiarity with Applied Behaviour Analysis is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provides evaluation, assessment, intervention and consultation to clients and their families.
• Works in collaboration to inform integrated care plans.
• Uses standardized tests and outcome measures in clinical practice.
• Collaborates with inter-professional team to develop the Speech Language Pathologist role within Extensive Needs service.
