Job summary

Monarch House is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to implement interventions for children and youth with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental delays. You will work under the supervision of a Registered Occupational Therapist within an interdisciplinary team to deliver engaging sessions in our Fleetwood, Panorama, and Guildford clinics.

Travel between locations is required. The role requires post-secondary OT coursework and legal eligibility to work in Canada, with preferred

• Post-secondary coursework in Occupational Therapy.
• Legally authorized to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans based on best practices.
• Communicate session progress with family, client and supervisor.
• Prepare teaching materials and organize the teaching environment.
• Create a positive and engaging environment for the client.
• Maintain client well-being and safety while in care.
• Track client progress through data collection and graphing.
