Monarch House in British Columbia is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to implement intervention plans for children and youth with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental or motor delays, under the supervision of a Registered Occupational Therapist within an interdisciplinary team.

The role involves travel to client homes in Surrey, part-time hourly scheduling, and a commitment to safe, engaging care.

Job description

As an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) at Monarch House your primary responsibility is implementing interventions for children and youth with autism spectrum disorder or other developmental delays and/or motor delays. Your role of Occupational Therapy Assistant is to execute intervention plans developed and supervised by a Registered Occupational Therapist to clients in care of Monarch House. The Assistant will work within an interdisciplinary team while providing an engaging and positive client experience in a fast paced and frequently changing environment. Please note that we do not offer LMIA or independent contractor setup. Employment setup: Part-time. Hourly. Salary: From $23-24/hr. Work setting: Community-based in Surrey. Travelling to client homes is required. Work Schedule: Monday - Saturday, as needed.

• Legally authorized to work in Canada
• Community-based experience is preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience working as an OTA
• Current Standard CPR and First Aid Certificate
