Job summary

Southern Health‑Santé Sud seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support clients across Acute, Transitional, PCH, Primary Care, Oncology, Public Health and Home Care. The LPN will maintain competency with regulatory standards and work with an interdisciplinary team.

Applicants must have CLPNM registration, BLS, and a valid Class 5 driver’s license. This in-person term position may require days, evenings, nights and weekends with travel to regional facilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum two (2) years of community nursing experience.
• Experience with tracheostomies and/or ventilators preferred.
• ICU experience preferred.
• Pediatric experience preferred.
• Completion of Wound Care Level 1.

Responsibilities

• The LPN applies the nursing process to support clients in achieving health goals across acute, transitional, PCH, primary care, oncology, public health and home care.
• Maintains competency and aligns with Professional Standards and regulatory acts.
• May travel to other regional facilities as required.
• Work priorities and methods determined with initiative and independent judgment.
