Job summary

Southern Health-Santé Sud is seeking a part‑time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support clients across Acute, Transitional, PCH, Primary Care, Oncology, Public Health and Home Care. You will apply the nursing process within a people-centered framework and maintain competency according to provincial standards.

The incumbent will exercise independent judgment in work priorities, adhere to mission and values, and may travel to regional facilities as required.

Qualifications

• Current active registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Manitoba (CLPNM).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license with vehicle and liability insurance of at least $1,000,000.

Responsibilities

• Apply nursing process to support clients in achieving optimal health.
• Work within a people-centered care approach across multiple care settings.
• Demonstrate initiative, independent judgment, and priority setting.
• Maintain competency per professional standards and policy.
