Job summary

Manitoulin Group of Companies is seeking an IT Support Technician to help end users across the organization. You will resolve daily technical issues, document solutions, and ensure incidents meet SLA targets.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting laptops, desktops, and hardware upgrades, supporting Windows OS and company portals, training users, and collaborating with Infrastructure. Flexibility with hours is required.

Qualifications

• Experience providing end-user IT support.
• Ability to document procedures and training.
• Familiar with SLA-based incident resolution.

Responsibilities

• Resolve daily technical issues reported by end users.
• Record, track, and follow up on incidents within SLAs.
• Troubleshoot laptops, desktops, and hardware replacements.
• Support Microsoft Windows systems and applications.
• Provide training on applications as required.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure group as needed.
• Create how-to documentation to assist users.
• Assist with or lead team initiatives.
• Physically install and deploy new equipment.
• Be available for flexible hours when required.

Job Description

• Resolve the daily technical issues reported by end users in the company
• Make effective use of ticketing system to record, track, and follow-up on open incidents and ensure resolution is set within the SLA’s
• Troubleshoot problems with laptops, desktops, and other equipment and perform hardware replacements or upgrades as needed
• Provide technical support for Microsoft Windows operating systems and applications, Email, and custom Manitoulin applications and portals
• Provide training on new and existing applications as required
• Working with the Infrastructure group when required
• Create how-to documentation to assist people with various computer tasks
• Assist with or lead team initiatives
• Physically install and deploy new equipment as required
• Be available for flexible hours when required
