Brantford Police Service is seeking a Payroll Technician to ensure accurate and timely payroll for our members. Under the supervision of the Supervisor of Finance and Administration, you will manage payroll functions, process time and attendance data, and ensure compliance with regulations and collective agreements.
You will cross-train with the Finance team, respond to inquiries, and prepare payroll reports.

Under the direction of the Supervisor of Finance and Administration, the Payroll Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll for our members. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing payroll functions, processing employee time and attendance data, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and collective agreements.
All members of the Finance team are expected to cross train in order to provide support in other areas of the Finance section in the event of absences.
