  • Develop a structured and efficient process to calculate top-up discrepancies for each employee based on historical pay increases and leave periods.
  • Utilize strong Excel skills to manipulate large data sets, including vlookup formulas and pivot tables.
  • Ensure accurate calculations considering the impact on EI benefits.
  • Reconcile payroll data to ensure accurate maternity leave top-up calculations.
  • Work collaboratively with Our Client's team to ensure project success.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven experience in payroll reconciliation, preferably within the healthcare sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of maternity leave regulations and how they interact with EI benefits.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with expertise in vlookup formulas and pivot tables.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Education

  • Post secondary education in accounting or payroll.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience working within the healthcare sector.
