Job summary

Portfolio Group is seeking a Payroll Coordinator in Mississauga to manage high-volume payroll for 750+ employees, two days onsite weekly. The role covers end-to-end payroll, garnishments, deductions, vacation pay, and year-end documentation within a transportation and logistics client.

Benefit details include day-one coverage and wellness support. Ideal candidates have ADP experience and familiarity with unionized environments, along with multi-provincial payroll knowledge.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working in the high volume payroll space, managing payroll for 750+ employees.
• End to end payroll including garnishments and deductions, vacation pay, etc.
• Experience within the unionized environments is considered a benefit
• Multi-provincial payroll knowledge is considered an asset
• Systems experience with ADP is considered an asset
• Year end documentation with T4s/T4As/T2200s considered an asset
• PCP certification is ideal for this role

Responsibilities

• Manage payroll for 750+ employees from start to finish, including garnishments and deductions.
• Ensure accurate year-end documentation (T4s, T4As, T2200s).
• Collaborate with unionized environments; adapt processes accordingly.
• Apply multi-provincial payroll knowledge to ensure compliance.
• Utilize ADP system for payroll processing and reporting.
• Support payroll-related audits and reconciliations.
• Maintain confidentiality and data accuracy across payroll cycles.
