Surrey Police Service is seeking a Payroll Analyst to join the Financial Services team on-site to ensure accurate payroll processing and timely paycheques for all SPS employees. The role integrates data into the Dayforce system and supports payroll controls and reporting.
The successful candidate will review regulations, apply collective agreements, generate payroll reports, and assist with system enhancements.

Surrey Police Service (SPS) has an exciting opportunity for a Payroll Analyst to join our Financial Services Section, within the Office of the Chief Constable. This role involves specialized and complex work that ensures the processing of all aspects of payroll and integrates information into a computerized financial system in a timely, accurate and efficient manner. Responsibilities include the timely and efficient execution of payroll, responding to complex communication with internal customers, as well as participating in a variety of projects as required. Considerable responsibility and independence of action is exercised within departmental guidelines. The successful candidate will have strong analytical abilities to review and compare payroll data to source documentation, troubleshoot complex system issues, identify discrepancies, and take initiative in improving processes within established guidelines.
This is an on-site position and the anticipated schedule for this position is 7 hrs per day / 35 hrs per week. Please note, the hours are subject to change based on operational needs and adherence to the Collective Agreement.
