POSITION OVERVIEW Surrey Police Service (SPS) has an exciting opportunity for a Compensation Advisor to join our Human Resources Division within the Corporate Services Bureau. Reporting to the Compensation and Benefits Manager, the Compensation Advisor is a key member of the Human Resources team, providing expertise in unionized job evaluation, classification, and compensation practices.
Working closely with managers, employees, unions, and other key stakeholders, the Compensation Advisor is responsible for administering and supporting all stages of the unionized job evaluation and classification process. The position provides advice and recommendations on job content, classification, and compensation matters, while ensuring consistency, accuracy, and alignment with established policies, procedures, and collective agreement provisions.
Schedule / Hours of Work This is an on-site position with an anticipated schedule of Monday-Friday, 37.5 hours per week. Please note, the hours are subject to change in accordance with operational requirements.
