Job description

We are looking for a motivated Payroll Administrator - Part-Time to join a highly reputable marketing team located in Downtown Toronto.

Position Details
  • Position: Part-Time Payroll Administrator
  • Location: Downtown Toronto
  • Industry: Marketing
  • Type: Part-time, 20 hours per week
Qualifications
  • Experience processing hourly Ontario payroll
  • Experience with payroll systems such as ADP WFN
  • Availability to start ASAP without a notice period
  • Minimum 1 year of Ontario payroll experience
  • Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas)
  • PCP designation or working towards it is an asset
  • Experience with payroll systems like ADP, Ceridian, SAP is a strong asset
Responsibilities
  1. Process bi-weekly, semi-monthly, or monthly payroll accurately and timely
  2. Verify timekeeping records and attendance data for accuracy
  3. Calculate wages, overtime, bonuses, deductions based on policies and regulations
  4. Review and reconcile payroll reports for accuracy
  5. Prepare and submit government remittances (income tax, CPP, EI, etc.)
  6. Stay updated on payroll legislation in Ontario and ensure compliance
  7. Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll
  8. Maintain accurate payroll records and employee files
  9. Assist with year-end payroll activities (T4, reconciliation)
  10. Collaborate with HR and other departments for accurate data
